Watch out for our instructional video next week….

Sproutabag!

Last week we had lots of fun working in groups and following instructions to plants seeds. We planted some rocket, red cabbage, broccoli, mustard and radish and we have put them in the greenhouse to let them grow. The best bit was watching the compost expand to 8 times its size when we watered it!

The whole school has been celebrating the start of the chinese year of the rabbit today. In year 3 we have been learning a ribbon dance, writing calligraphy messages, making lanterns and zodiac wheels. We also learned the numbers 1-10 in mandarin when some year 4 mini teachers came to tutor us, then we tested our skills on a number treasure hunt!
